PhysKcal Hex Dumbbells: technical features
The PhysKcal Hex Dumbbells are designed to solve some of the most common issues with traditional rubber dumbbells. Instead of the usual strong smell, they use an 8-mm thick poly coating made from an NBR and PVC over-molded injection mixture, which is extremely low-odour and slightly harder than typical rubber. This coating not only keeps your training area smelling fresh, it also protects home and gym floors from impact damage and helps to keep workouts quieter by absorbing shock.
Inside, these poly hex dumbbells use a high grade steel and solid cast-iron core for even weight distribution, longevity and durability. A proprietary head-to-handle construction is used so that the heads do not come loose over time, which is a common weak point in cheaper dumbbells. The hexagonal no-roll shape prevents the weights from moving around between sets and also allows floor-based exercises such as renegade rows, dumbbell clean and jerk, and burpees over dumbbells. The flat edges also make storage easier in tight home gym spaces.
The handles are chrome-plated, ergonomically contoured and knurled to provide a firm, secure grip even when your hands get sweaty. There are no logos or branding on the heads, only the weight indication embossed on both sides, giving them a clean, professional look. These PhysKcal poly hex dumbbells are available in multiple weight options, making them a budget-priced yet high-performing choice that still delivers on quality, performance, and longevity for any home gym.
